I am a Richmond, Virginia native and have been appraising and consulting on residential real estate for 40 years. For these 40 years I have written appraisal valuation reports on a continual basis from Powhatan County to the Tri Cities area. North of the James River I have worked from Goochland County to King William County.
I hold the Certified Residential Appraiser License from the State of VA. I earned the SRA designation from the Appraisal Institute in the 90s, and I’ve been a long term member of the Employee Relocation Council
This wide range of residential valuation education has exposed me to a diverse collection of property and locations. This has included everything from modest value parcels of land to homes exceeding $3,000,000. At times I will also serve my clients by venturing to limited activity markets such as Lake Anna for complex waterfront valuation or riverfront property on the James, Appomattox, and even the Chesapeake Bay.
My services include Relocation, Mortgage, Estate Settlement, FSBO presale valuation and consultation, Refinance, PMI removal, basically any need to determine a value for your property.
While the bulk of valuation is done in the counties of Hanover, Chesterfield, Henrico, and City of Richmond, one can rest assured that each assignment is handled from a blank slate status. No preconceived notions, no boilerplate commentary. No matter if it is a 100 year old community or an emerging planned community, every assignment receives the same attention. I handle the appraisal from start to finish to include the scheduling, inspection, data research, writing and delivery.
